About This Position
Bury College is a large Further Education College offering a wide range of courses to full time, part time and apprenticeship students each year. The college currently works with a range of local partners, including high-school, employers and voluntary organisations.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Planning and Funding Administrator to join our team. Working within the Funding and Planning Team, this role is instrumental in ensuring that the college achieves its funding targets by supporting the Curriculum Planning process, with responsibility for producing a range of management reports to support business objectives.
The successful candidate will also be required to develop in depth knowledge of the funding rules and support teams across college to maintain full compliance with the funding agencies’ audit requirements.
Suitable for an administrator experienced in college systems and/or funding, you should have the ability to understand and resolve complex issues, and be able to provide sound solutions to a range of colleagues.
Applicants for this role must have a good standard of education, hold a qualification in a relevant subject and be keen to join a growing team. Excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask and a commitment to achieving targets, high standards and meeting deadlines are all essential for this position.
