Administration Support - Major Projects Full Time

Base Location: Reading or Manchester Preferred | We're proud to offer a Flexible First approach to work, and this role is no exception. We will, however, need your base 'home' location to be one of our SSE offices around the UK.


Salary: £26,909 – 30,472 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.


Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time Hours


What is the role:


Administration Assistant - Major Projects Team


As an Administration Assistant you’ll provide support to our Major Projects team. In this role, you will interact with key stakeholders at senior level, coordinating travel, supporting meetings and and ensuring timely reporting.


Complete discretion and confidentiality will be essential in this role, as will outstanding organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your work load in order to ensure that the coordination of project demands are managed in a professional and efficient manner.


Some of your other accountabilities will include;



  • Arranging and approving travel, hospitality requests.

  • Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations.

  • Raising Purchase Orders within our internal systems and ensuring payments are made on time

  • Approval of timesheets and holiday requests on behalf of the Major Projects Team.

  • Assisting the teams with any ad hoc requests
