The role is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week

Recruitment support:
- To be a first point of contact ensuring the smooth running of recruitment activities including advertising jobs, screening of applications, arranging and conducting interviews, providing interview feedback, making job offers, liaising with managers, processing references, gaps in employment, Right to work, and DBS checks.
- Update relevant recruitment and onboarding trackers including People HR, audit, compliance spreadsheets.
- Recruitment Events – liaising with relevant managers regarding marketing materials, liaising with attendees to arrange collection / drop off of materials.
- Respond to all candidate enquiries either online or by telephone in a friendly and efficient manner
- Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process providing weekly contact to ensure positive engagement and candidate experience
- Responding and processing Refer a friend applications to all current and future NHC employees
HR support:
- Participate in employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including paperwork and induction.
- Assist with the administration of employee benefits and leave requests.
- Support the HR team with references, collating of information, drafting letters.
- Collate new starter information for payroll as well as shared responsibility
- Download all personnel documentation to personnel files in line with audit and CQC requirements
IT/ Systems Management:
- Collaborate on HR reporting and analytics projects
- Actively update and maintain HR & Recruitment Systems .
- Participate in system training sessions and stay updated on system functionality.
- Assist in ensuring data integrity and security within HR systems.
- Ordering relevant IT and mobile equipment for new starters to ensure a smooth onboarding process for them including providing badges.
- Effectively problem-solving to find effective solutions to all HR/ recruitment related issues
Documentation and Compliance:
- Assist in ensuring compliance and audit is up to date in line with CQC regulations.
- Contribute to the maintenance and update of HR-related documentation, including employee handbooks and contracts.
- Conducting mandatory audits on all personnel files ensuring adhering to CQC requirements.
Record Keeping and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of HR and administrative activities in line with GDPR.
- Assist in generating regular and ad hoc reports for HR and management as needed.
General Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department.
- Assist with office-related tasks, such as ordering merchandise, IT equipment, maintaining a tidy workspace.

- Application Turnaround Time from offer to acceptance: Measure the time it takes to onboard candidates from offer to starting.
- Documentation Compliance: Ensure that personnel files and HR documents adhere to CQC regulations and mandatory audits are conducted on schedule.
- Compliance Maintenance: Ensure all compliance verifications are completed and recruitment and onboarding tracking systems are updated with relevant information.
Accuracy of Data: Evaluate the precision and correctness of data input into HR systems.
The post holder is expected to;

- Undertake any training relevant to the requirements of the role
