Role: Administrative Officer
Salary: £21,029 per annum (pro-rata)
Location: Remote but local to Bury, Lancs.
Contract/Hours: Permanent, Part-time, 30 hours per week. Monday to Friday. 6 hours a day 10am to 4pm (can be flexible)

A bit about the role.
Our service Action for Children Social Opportunities provides support to children and young people with additional needs. This includes support to access community-based activities in small groups our community-based venues are in Bury at Elton Centre, Sunnybank Centre (during Term Time) and Bury Athletics Club (during School Holidays).
We are looking for an Administrative Officer to support this service.

- Being effective, intuitive, flexible and able to work to deadlines.
- Having a willingness to learn with strong attention to detail and adhere to best practises.
- Providing excellent customer service and being a good communicator.
- Having a sensitive approach to the work that we undertake.
- Working as a team but with the ability to work on your own initiative.
Let's talk about you.
- Experience of a similar administrative role with excellent communication skills is essential.
- Strong IT Skills and experience of using various IT systems including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- To be a confident communicator and able to converse with senior professionals from a variety of backgrounds.
- The ability to take minutes.
- Good prioritisation and time management ensuring deadlines are met, whilst maintaining the ability to handle sensitive data.
- To be proactive with a ‘can-do' attitude.
