About Shared Services
Our Shared Services team deliver specialist processes that have a direct impact on the performance of Network Rail, our customers and suppliers. These services include payroll, recruitment and onboarding, payables, receivables, financial accounting, reporting, controls and compliance, and helpdesk support.
What will you be doing?
As a Shared Services Administrator in our Data Changes team, you will pay a vital role in updating and maintaining data and information (approx. 4000 transactional changes every 4 weeks) for circa 43,000 Network Rail colleagues.
You will be responsible for processing information throughout the employee lifecycle. This will include external and internal hires and updating all the relevant information such as, salaries, benefits, entitlements and personal information.
This role could help develop your career with us and many of our people have moved into areas such Payroll, Human Resources, Internal Recruitment and wider areas within the railways such as Health and Safety.
Main Responsibilities- Update and maintain employee records using our internal systems – Oracle & PSE.
- Provide data analysis and audit various reports to ensure 100% accuracy
- Comply with GDPR when working with sensitive information
- Communicating with all levels of stakeholders within Network Rail
- Process high volumes of changes working towards team SLAs (service level agreements) and business KPIs (key performance indicators)
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Confident communicator
- Intermediate excel skills
- Data analysis experience
- Ability to learn and adapt in understanding of GDPR
