About this opportunity



We are searching for someone with excellent stakeholder engagement and project skills to join us as our next Assistant Information Systems Business Partner. As we move forward with an exciting new projects, you will be a key role in providing the right interface between our business and our Group IT to continue driving us forward.



To be successful in this role, we're looking for someone with fantastic people engagement skills, as well as an ability to tackle projects from the beginning of their lifecycle and bringing them into a business-as-usual state. Some other responsibilities below:



Specific Responsibilities


  • Provide business analysis at initiation stage of projects

  • Manage the transition process from project stage to BaU

  • Lead on projects with a BaU focus

  • Involvement in our new broking platform implementation

  • Stakeholder engagement to understand business needs

  • Ensure good communication with colleagues

  • Provide support to the team as required

  • Attend project meetings and take ownership of tasks and actions

  • Ad hoc tasks




Key Accountabilities


  • Ability to produce high level documentation

  • Understanding our business needs

  • Regularly setting and effectively manage priorities

  • Ownership of project and ad hoc responsibilities

  • Experience with Broking systems and Technology

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel

  • Knowledge and experience in the London Insurance Market

  • Produce accurate and timely project status reports

  • Effective communicator

  • Ensure correct authorisation is obtained and processes followed when required by the Company and/or Group policies and procedures

  • Ensure that self and team comply with legal and regulatory requirements

  • Ensure that team’s performance, HR and T&C records are up to date and meet the Company and/or Group’s requirements

  • Maintain accurate records and deal with correspondence appropriately



Reporting


  • Provide relevant management information to senior management



Projects


  • Manage assigned projects and contribute to other projects as required

  • Respond appropriately to urgent issues as they arise



Market Awareness


  • Keep informed of all legal and regulatory developments relevant to the department

  • Share information that could be beneficial to the Company



Representing the Company


  • Any other reasonable duties, as required
