The Role
Hadean is looking for an exceptional IT Manager to manage, support and improve our company software and hardware infrastructure. This is a senior role that will require strategic and project management experience combined with hands on day to day support for our team.
Ideally 3 days on site in our London office and 2 days remote. Reporting to the Head of Technical Operations you’ll provide the IT support needed to ensure prompt resolution of issues, consistent uptime, and high levels of user satisfaction. You’ll be content within a fast paced, high performance startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide IT support across diverse technologies and ensure employees have the right tech resources.
Oversee infrastructure management, ensuring software and hardware evolve with the company's growth.
Ensure cybersecurity measures meet both internal and external compliance standards.
Handle budgeting, procurement, logistics, and vendor management.
Monitor system health and maintain compliance with policies.
Lead the team and Hadean through growth and development.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
Must haves:
Experience working in a start-up/scale-up and establishing an IT service management function
Demonstrable experience of succeeding within IT Support & Management
Strong work prioritisation and stakeholder management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication, leading training and induction courses
Technical troubleshooting & problem solving skills
Demonstrable ability guiding employees through complex technical issues
Iaas management (particularly Azure)
Administration of Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems (Especially Ubuntu, Debian, Windows 11/10 Pro, Windows Serve
Jira, Jira Service Desk and Confluence to document and manage work
Nice to haves:
Familiarity with software development tools and infrastructure (CI, source control)
Experience improving systems and processes to ISO27001, SOC 2 or equivalent standards
