Role: IT Business Analyst

Location: London - Tower Place West (Remote WFH and Office 2-3 day a week - Flexible)

Length of assignment: 6 months

Working days/hours: Monday - Friday (35 hours)

£65,000 +5% bonus

We have an exciting new opportunity for an IT Business Analyst to Join Resource Solutions as a Workforce Consultant. As an Employed Workforce Consultant, you will benefit from permanent employment with Resource Solutions and will be deployed on an interim or project basis into our clients' organisations, in return we will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills with ongoing training and professional accreditations.

Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated Business Analyst to immediately join our team to support the implementation, ongoing support and enhancement of various technology solutions.

In this role you will work very closely with Business Product Owners, manage business relationships, gather, and validate business requirements and interpret these into user stories. You will coordinate business acceptance testing and oversee the product backlog.

We will count on you to?

• A full review of the Blueprint 2 technology deliverables and a gap / opportunity analysis.


• Work with stakeholders to interpret business needs and issues, effectively translating them to actionable requirements.


• Gathering requirements and ascertaining the relevant information from business stakeholders/SMEs


• Facilitating discovery or design workshops


• Work with agile development teams, manage a product backlog and oversee acceptance testing


• Providing analytical support across projects as appropriate


• Drive business engagement through project meetings, program boards and agile ceremonies.

What you need to have:

• 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner


• Experience with the London Market, preferably with a broker


• Experience working in an Agile environment including producing user stories and participating in sprints and daily scrums


• A degree in Information Technology or a related field


• Insurance or Financial Industry experience preferred


• Experience working with global stakeholders and cultures


• Excellent writing/documentation, communication, analysis and organizational skills required


• Ability to grasp business needs and assess impacts to complex business operations and systems
