Senior IT Operations Engineer

Introduction
This is a hybrid role with 1-2 days per week onsite.
My client is a global defence and engineering consultancy who are looking for an infrastructure engineer to support 50,000 users worldwide. This may range from support work to project work!
Candidates must have strong Citrix and VMware experience, and experience supporting a large number of users across the globe.
Key responsibilities
- Installing and configuring Citrix software and other infrastructure components.
- Create user accounts and set permissions.
- Manage applications and their delivery in a Citrix environment.
- Monitor performance of Citrix infrastructure.
- Implement security including firewalls.
- Identify and resolve technical issues.
- Install and configure VMware and manage virtual machines.
- Configure and manage networks.
Skills & experience
- Experience supporting Citric infrastructure.
- Certification in Citrix such as CCA-V, CCP-V or CCE-V.
- Knowledge of technologies such as XenDesktop (7.X/1912/2203), Licensing, Profile Management, Citrix Director, Storefront, Studio, including Legacy XenApp, Web interface.
- Experience with Citrix ADC or ADM technology.
- Experience managing, publishing, and troubleshooting applications.
- Experience with Active Directory.
- Experience supporting at least 2,000 + servers.
- Experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.
