IT Support Analyst - EC3/Hybrid- 365/Azure - £35-42K
A well-established cyber security firm, with offices across 5 continents are searching for an experienced IT Support Analyst to join their growing team in their central London office.
The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for all IT issues within the company, including offices around the globe, and will be able to resolve these issues up to a third line level.
The long-term aims of the role are to provide a solid foundation of IT support alongside the Service Desk manager as the company transitions into a cloud-first environment, as this is a role in a growing team there is lots of opportunity for exposure to network technologies and cyber security.
Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for the global IT Service Desk for walk-ups, incoming calls, support tickets and requests
Provide global IT support to offices around the world, and on-the-ground support for the London office
Resolve end-user requirements including hardware and software support requests
Managing the Starters / Leavers / Movers processes, including account creations
Managing IT services, contracts, subscriptions, and licensing
Support and troubleshooting of London office AV equipment
Maintaining and creating technical documentation and knowledge base articles
General administration and support of on-prem Active Directory and Azure Active Directory, Microsoft 365 applications including Teams, SharePoint Online and Exchange Online
Perform application support installation, removal, configuration and updates
Assist with transformational projects using Microsoft Azure and M365 platforms
Assist in responding to and remediating any issues affecting all or part of the organisation
Working closely with IT Team to deliver global initiatives and projects
Contributing to Continual Service Improvement, Service Reporting and Service Measurement
Supplier management
IT Skills:
Over 2 years' experience in IT helpdesk, preferably with knowledge of 1st - 3rd line support.
Strong knowledge of the Microsoft 365 tech stack - Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, AzureAD, Intune / Endpoint
Windows Server (Active Directory, ADUC, Sites and Services, GPO, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, DFS, SAN)
Fundamental knowledge of Cisco Meraki networks; DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Firewalls, routing, VPNs
Perform application support installation, removal, configuration, and updates
Managing infrastructure through Azure
Personal Skills and Attributes:
A proactive approach and a willingness to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Adaptable and able to work outside of job specifications when required in a fast-paced and pressurized environment.
Passionate about getting involved with and supporting the growth of an internal helpdesk. You will be a vital part of the foundations of this growing IT team, where there will be opportunities to develop as the company grows.
Excellent interpersonal / customer service skills, being able to deal with issues around the globe.
