You will be working for a Global Law Firm based in a stunning office in central London.





Job Description



The Executive Assistant - Commercial Litigation reports to the Secretarial Services Manager, working to co-ordinate secretarial teams across practice groups and business services. The legal departments are made up of partners, associates, trainees and paralegals, assisted by personal assistants and team administrators. The key responsibilities will be as follows:



  • Management - Provide a nurturing environment for PA/TA/Apprentice talent, creating an environment of trust, open communication, creative thinking and cohesive working

  • Resource Management - Manage fee earner/PA allocations and the even distribution of workloads within PA teams

  • On-boarding and Training -Initiate new starter processes, complete documentation and circulate

  • Organisation - Act as the point of contact for Business Service teams






The Successful Applicant



The successful candidate will posses the following:



  • A thorough understanding of working in a professional, service driven environment, including stakeholder/client/business confidentiality

  • Previous supervisory experience within professional services

  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills (both oral and written)

  • Confident and professional manner with the ability to build strong relationship at all levels, including fee earners and clients

  • Capable of working autonomously and within a team environment

  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills

  • Proven persuasion, influencing and negotiation skills, including conflict management

  • Commercial and financial acumen

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to remain proactive and flexible at all times and remain calm when under pressure

  • Advanced knowledge of all legal software (3E or Aderant is advantageous) systems and Microsoft Office,

  • Excellent academic background
