Learning and Development Coordinator – 6month contract

£35,000 - £45,000

City (4 days office based)

My client is a major real-estate company with exceptional offices, looking for an Learning and Development Coordinator to join for a 6 month maternity contract. The ideal candidate will have exposure to coordinating all training events, liaising with external suppliers, ensuring the HR portal is accurate, coordinate all new joiner documents as well as supporting with the training budgets.


Our client is looking for someone to join immediately.


THE ROLE


  • Organise and co-ordinate all training events. This includes: arranging dates, venues, room layout, course materials and hiring any necessary equipment. Arranging overnight accommodation for external trainers and co-ordinating the appropriate catering requirements.

  • Ensure the appropriate enrolment authorisation is obtained on Workday.

  • To assist the Associate Director – Learning & Skills and Learning Advisor with the design and delivery of courses, including delivering the company induction for new employees.

  • Co-ordinate joining instructions and send meeting request for in-house courses.

  • To greet trainer and delegates on arrival at training courses and provide clear instructions for use of facilities.

  • Regularly liaise with departmental managers to maintain a record of available in-house training.



THE PERSON


  • Previous experience in a Learning and Development or Training role.

  • Vocational qualifications – ideally CIPD qualified

  • Strong experience working with Learning Management Systems/e-learning platforms (Workday or other)

  • Excellent attention to details

  • Highly organised and strong prioritisation skills
