Job Description

• Working alongside Solicitors within the Legal Department assisting on litigation, M&A, commercial and corporate enquiries and projects.


• Assisting with a wide range of commercial agreements across their varied business. Including NDAs, hold harmless agreements, Investment Management Agreements (IMAs), engagement terms with clients of our Professional Services business, other procurement contracts, and terms of business with their wealth management clients.


• Assisting with the varied other work of the legal department, including advising on GDPR and other legal and regulatory requirements. Liaising with colleagues throughout the business including in Compliance, Financial Crime, Company Secretarial as required in order to solve issues and deliver advice.


• Pro-actively learning about the varied aspects of the business and the regulatory framework that it operates within; making time for continuing professional development and maintaining and developing legal technical skills.

The Successful Applicant

• Excellent academics


• Undergraduate degree


• GDL (if required) and LPC


• Corporate and commercial legal experience
