Legal Administrator- Part time

Our client is currently recruiting for a part time- Legal Administrator, pay £25ph, start ASAP, this role is a 1 year contract initially, with a 3 months' trial period and potential for further renewals, you will be required to work 3 days per week and this will in the office, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 7 hours per day.). Location- Canary Wharf.
Responsibilities include:
- Provides administrative, secretarial, operational support to a legal team of 8-10 professionals
- Organises and coordinates logistics for team meetings, trainings and/or activities; supports manager to prepare agendas, materials and pre-reads; arrange meeting rooms, calls and video conferencing, catering, equipment, supplies and other requirements to support these meetings, training and/or activities
- Manages calendars for the team, keeping accurate records and maintaining the team's distribution lists, contact lists, organisation charts, reports etc.
- Arranges business travel including visas, flights, accommodation, transportation and other requirements in line with our client Travel, Expense and Accounting (TEA) Policy; Prepares and submits TEA reports for the team
- Keeps track of invoices, ensuring that all outstanding amounts are paid on time and working with the bank or vendor to resolve issues
- Handles the administrative duties associated with retention of outside counsels, including processing and paying legal invoices, tracking outside counsel spend and preparing spend reports
- Proficiency with tools and technology including Office 365 (including Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Forms etc.) and SharePoint. We have a couple of our client payment systems which the client will provide training.
- High ethical standards and ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Highly motivated self-starter, team player with can do attitude [special emphasis], willing to help/learn and able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
