Your opportunity
As a member of the Janus Henderson Group Secretariat team you will provide corporate secretarial services and support to the Group’s UK Boards and Committees. This role provides a unique opportunity to work amongst a high-performing and well-regarded team, operating at all levels of the Group, including liaison with Executive & Non-Executive Directors and Senior Management.
- Provide a full range of corporate secretarial support services, including in relation to the UK regulated entity boards and committees, as needed.
- Services provided will include preparing agendas for board and committee meetings, attending meetings, preparing minutes, managing minute reviews and following up action items. They will also include liaising with management regarding the provision and content of board papers.
- Provide corporate governance advice and support to the business, to ensure that the Group’s boards and committees are operating effectively and in accordance with best practice from a corporate governance perspective.
- Partner with the Head of Secretariat and the Company Secretary on governance initiatives, including representing the team on projects being undertaken in the Group and driving the implementation of changes where required.
- Managing and responding to KYC and other information requests.
- Assisting with the identification and implementation of process improvements for the team.
- You will carry out other duties as assigned.

Must have skills
- Experience of working in a company secretarial/governance role
- Minute taking experience
- Knowledge of board processes and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow complex instructions and processes
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to perform under pressure and on own initiative
Nice to have skills
- Relevant Company Secretarial qualifications
- Knowledge of relevant company law and company secretarial requirements
