IT support Engineer (2 nd line)
I am recruiting on behalf of my client who is looking for an IT support engineer (2 nd line) this will suit someone who has good technical skills coupled with good communication skills, the ability to deal with a face pace environment and good interaction skills with all levels of the business. This role will also give the individual to take part in project work when the opportunity arises.
Experience
Provide 2 nd line technical support and troubleshooting to end-users
Be an escalation point, managing and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, network, and server systems using our ticketing system and following ITIL to manage and close tickets in a timely manner.
Office 365 Administration (Active Directory Management, Exchange Management, Microsoft Teams Management, SharePoint Management).
Azure Management – Management of Microsoft Endpoint Manager (apps, devices, enrollment, policies).
Management of hardware via Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions for both Windows 10 and macOS devices (asset management, software deployment, vulnerability and patch management).
Email Gateway administration. Managing emails and message tracking and input in improving the service via automation.
Suggest areas for improvement, potential opportunities for automation.
Participate in IT projects and initiatives, including system upgrades, migrations, and rollout requirements.
Ability to use PowerShell or other scripting techniques.
Creating, updating, maintaining documentation related to the service desk and support functions.
Work with Infrastructure engineers on projects and implementation of new technologies.
Supporting of Cloud based VOIP telephony, user management and configuration (working alongside 3 rd party engineers to keep our telephony system up and running).
Good communication skills, the ability to deal with all levels of the business and remain calm under pressure.
The role is paying up to £40,000, free on site gym, bar, personal trainer, barbershop / hair salon, company annual Ski trips, private healthcare, 25 days holidays + bank holidays.
Office location is close to Paddington train station. The role will offer a hybrid working pattern such as 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
