Junior Service Desk Analyst
at University of Westminster London in London (Published at 25-09-2023)
This post is full time, working 35 hours per week and fixed term until 3 May 2024.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in developing a career in an IT support desk role within the Higher Education sector. The University of Westminster is one of the oldest higher education institutes in the UK, with a long and illustrious history, nestled in the very heart of London.
The Junior Service Desk Analyst role will provide first line technical support to students and internal staff. Whilst there is a strong technical aspect to the role, we are looking more so for a person who has the desire and motivation to learn about the systems and services used within a Higher Education environment. Training and guidance will be provided, but we are looking for someone who can also learn independently and strives to push themselves.
You will be joining an established and supportive Service Desk team comprising the Team Lead, Senior Service Desk Analysts, and fellow Junior Service Desk Analysts working seamlessly together as one unit to provide a high level of customer service. You will be using your excellent communication skills to maintain close working relationships with your Service Desk colleagues, as well as our specialist IT teams to identify and assist with the resolution of issues affecting our systems and services.
If you would like to work for a prestigious University with a rich history, within a dynamic Service Desk environment providing excellent customer service to a wide range of users then apply now.
This role will be a mixture of remote working and on-site across the London campuses and very occasionally the Harrow campus.
