Director of Infrastructure
Location: Milton Keynes – Hybrid

Contract: Permanent, 37.5 hpw
Salary: £95,000- £105,000, 20% bonus

Your Role at a Glance:

As our Director of Infrastructure, you will be responsible for leading multiple teams, ensuring outstanding service delivery, and driving continuous innovation. Your expertise in cybersecurity, telephony, data management, infrastructure support, application support, architecture design, software as a service (SAAS) and technical customer service will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our technical capabilities.

You will collaborate closely with senior leadership, product teams, and external stakeholders, ensuring that our infrastructure aligns with business objectives while maintaining industry-leading security and compliance standards.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leadership & Strategy: Work with the SLT to develop and execute an infrastructure and security strategy that aligns with company goals. Lead and inspire teams across Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Universe Development, Platform Support, and Implementation.
• Operational Excellence: Define KPIs and SLAs, implement performance dashboards, and ensure efficient ticket management processes.
• Cybersecurity & Risk Management: Maintain robust security measures, define secure remote access protocols, and mitigate cyber threats.
• Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted technical expert for clients, both pre- and post-sales, strengthening our partnerships.
• Continuous Improvement: Monitor industry trends, drive process improvements, and implement best practices across the organization.
• Budget & Resource Management: Ensure optimal resource allocation while managing departmental budgets effectively.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong technical expertise in cybersecurity, telephony, infrastructure management, software as a service (SAAS), hardware & application support (developer experience is a plus!).
• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to set KPIs and SLAs and drive team performance.
• Experience operating within ISO 9001 & 27001 frameworks.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A commercially savvy, strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
• High emotional intelligence with the ability to influence, negotiate, and foster strong cross-functional relationships.
• A passion for continuous learning, innovation, and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
