Graduate Product Line Engineer - Aberdeen Full Time

KEY ACTIVITIES

  • Responsible for PulseEight pre-load out tests qualification testing (SIT); downhole tools and surface interface equipment.
  • Compilation of System integrity test procedures
  • Generation of SIT reports, and when required manage client witness testing at Aberdeen HQ
  • Always ensure testing equipment and apparatus are of the highest standard.
  • Work with Quality team on continuous improvement of all PulseEight Documentation
  • Work closely with operations team to ensure field readiness and on time delivery of equipment to the client
  • Implementation and coordination of testing standards in preparation for regional testing facility role out
  • Training of other global team members and regional staff with the tools and any required standards for testing of PulseEight Tools and associated equipment.
  • Ensure documentation is well maintained and up to date for the product line with adequate traceability.
  • Work with digital development team to provide innovative solutions for repeatability in testing globally. Looking at streamlining and surveillance of testing in other regions.
  • Liaise with all technology departments to project manage cross departmental projects
  • Aid with tool re-dress and tool service from demobilised tools

INDIVIDUAL QHSE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To demonstrate commitment to the quality of service, including quality of records produced, aiming at meeting and exceeding customer expectations;

  • To follow company QHSE Policy, relevant operational procedures, HSE procedures and risk assessments;
  • To communicate and report on any perceived non-conformances or faults in the service provided or in the companys Quality or HSE Management Systems.


QUALIFICATIONS

Essential:Degree, or equivalent competence in relevant oilfield engineering discipline


EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE

Essential:
  • Strong technical background
  • Petroleum Operations knowledge
  • Excellent Project Management skills
  • Competent with Microsoft Office packages
  • Preparation of technical documentation
  • Good problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail

Preferred:
  • Downhole electronic tool experience (testing, Deployment or Assembly)
  • Experienced with data acquisition systems
  • System integration and surface communication
