We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Manager (Water Recycling) to lead our engineering team in delivering a diverse portfolio of capital investment projects. These include essential infrastructure such as Combined Sewer Overflows (CSOs), Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDs), and enhancements to Sewerage
What you'll be doing
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and Develop the Engineering Team: Plan and allocate resources effectively, recruit and develop talent, and ensure the team delivers high-quality engineering outputs.
- Drive Innovation and Sustainability: Embrace new digital technologies and develop sustainable solutions to reduce carbon and protect natural capital, aligning with PAS 2080 principles.
- Ensure Safety and Compliance: Fulfil the role of CDM Principal Designer, championing a strong health, safety, and welfare culture within the team.
- Collaborate and Influence: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, driving collaboration to achieve project goals.
- Deliver Excellence: Instil a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Who we're looking for
What we are looking for:
- A degree in Engineering, ideally with Chartered Engineer status.
- Proven experience in water recycling non-infrastructure projects.
- A strong track record of leading multi-disciplinary design teams on complex capital projects.
