Equans is Recruiting! Join Our Team as a Senior Electrical Engineer
Do you have experience working as an Electrical Engineer and the drive to provide exceptional service while maintaining critical infrastructure? Equans is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team based in Chelsea. This is an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact while ensuring the operational efficiency and regulatory compliance of our client's facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Client & Customer Relations: Manage client orders, organize quotations, conduct meetings, and provide timely reports.
Maintenance Management: Ensure all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks are completed accurately and on time. Troubleshoot and repair faults or breakdowns in electrical systems.
Compliance & Auditing: Conduct regular site audits, ensure compliance with procedures, and monitor subcontractor activities.
Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety procedures, oversee the use of PPE, and support risk assessments and method statements.
Team Management: Lead and assist in managing the engineering team, ensuring performance targets are met.
Skills & Qualifications:
Required:
Electrical C&G or equivalent technical qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
Electrical Inspection 2391
BS7671 18th Edition wiring regulations
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams
Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in electrical maintenance
Desirable:
Mechanical qualifications
Experience in building services M&E
What We’re Looking For:
Strong communication and customer service skills to interact with clients and team members
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Self-motivation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Competence in basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Willingness to participate in an on-call rota and work outside of normal hours as needed
