Role overview
The team
Operating within the heart of the firm's central management team, the Partnership Affairs team is responsible for managing and delivering all aspects of partnership accounting, to include the firm's entity and personal tax compliance, partnership remuneration, payments and capital funding. The team provides high level support to the firm's board on partner related finance issues with a remit extending across all RPC offices and relevant tax jurisdictions.
The role
This key role works collaboratively within the wider Partnership Affairs team and with the firm's external tax advisors to deliver a robust system of tax compliance and reporting of partner individual tax positions and reserves.

Partnership Accounting team, Partners, Finance team and other key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of timely and accurate entity level tax computations to ensure optimal tax efficiency -primarily UK compliance but with involvement and oversight on tax computations across all RPC relevant jurisdictions.
- Deliver a comprehensive system of calculating, maintaining and reporting appropriate personal tax reserves, to include cash movements and reconciliations to ensure the integrity of the GL and balance sheet.
- Collaborate with the Partnership Accounting team in applying tax reserves to partner current accounts.
- Prepare illustrations and projections of tax liabilities for joiner and leaver scenarios, estimates and payments on account.
- Provide regular data on the cash impact of upcoming tax liabilities for cash flow reporting purposes.
- Be a subject matter expert / liaison point on up-to-date legislation, advising on ad-hoc tax related queries, eg withholding tax, global mobility compliance reporting requirements.
- Liaise with external advisors and tax authorities.
- Work closely with the wider Partnership Accounting team to deliver to Partners a seamless and clear understanding of their partnership interests.
- Assist with ad-hoc tax related tasks as required.
Knowledge, skills and experience
- Demonstrates a growth mindset and is committed to lifelong learning to build knowledge and expertise.
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CTA/ATT qualified with proven experience of LLP and personal tax compliance in a partnership environment (preferred). Minimum 5years+ post qualification.
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
