Overview
Are you looking to start a career in finance? We’re seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our finance team and gain valuable hands-on experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general bookkeeping. This is a great opportunity for a school leaver or someone early in their career who wants to develop finance skills in a supportive environment.
This role will report to the Group Financial Controller but also work directly with Senior Finance Director and broader finance team, as well as the wider Kepler team and studios. No prior experience is required—just a strong willingness to learn, good attention to detail, and a positive attitude!
What you will do:
Accounts Payable (AP) – Processing Outgoing Payments
- Assisting in processing supplier invoices, checking details for accuracy
- Helping to match invoices with purchase orders and obtain approvals
- Supporting weekly/monthly payment runs
- Assisting in reconciling supplier statements and investigating discrepancies
Accounts Receivable (AR) – Processing Incoming Payments
- Assisting in raising and sending sales invoices to customers and platforms
- Helping to track payments and follow up on overdue balances
- Assisting in allocating payments to the correct accounts
General Finance & Administration Support
- Accurately entering data into our finance systems
- Assisting in bank reconciliations (matching transactions with statements)
- Helping with filing, document management, and general finance admin
- Supporting the team with month-end tasks (e.g., checking transactions, preparing simple reports)
What we're looking for:
- Good numerical skills and attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel (and the wider Microsoft Office suite)
- Good communication skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Teamwork and collaboration
