IT Business Process Analyst (General Insurance)

Key Responsibilities:
Process Optimization:
- Analyse and document insurance business processes, identifying inefficiencies, gaps, and risks in operations.
- Create process maps and flowcharts to visualize business processes and propose recommendations for improvements.
- Implement continuous improvement methodologies to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness.
Business Analysis:
- Gather and analyse business requirements, developing tailored specifications.
- Communicate with stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and feasibility of requirements.
Data Analysis:
- Collect, analyse, and interpret data related to business processes and performance metrics.
- Utilize data visualization tools to present findings, support decision-making, and provide actionable recommendations based on data trends.
IT Project Management:
- Participate in and manage business-driven IT development projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Write business/functional requirement specifications and collaborate with technical teams to ensure effective implementation.
- Monitor project progress, evaluate outcomes, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in process analysis, business requirements, or data modelling.
- Experience in running business process improvement/redesign and IT project management.
- Outstanding communication skills in both English and Chinese, capable of effectively engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Work experience in the insurance industry and familiarity with operational processes is preferred.
- Process management certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, BPM, ITIL, or equivalent) are a plus.
