This role sits as part of the finance function, but works closely with HR, to run the entire payroll process end to end for around 300 employees. Suitable candidates will have experience within a similar sized organisation and would be happy to work autonomously as part of a small finance team. Your Responsibilities:
- Manage monthly payroll and system updates (tax codes, deductions). Ensure payroll aligns with contracts and statutory requirements. Process timesheets, adjustments, and pension contributions. Reconcile reports and submit RTI data to HMRC. Ensure compliance with policies and confidentiality. Administer stakeholder pension schemes and ensure Auto Enrolment compliance. Reconcile data and manage staff pension queries. Manage payroll software, updates, and user access. Post payroll journals, reconcile accounts, and assist with budget reporting. Prepare and submit PAYE settlement and related payments.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
- Ideally a part qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/AAT) or studying CIPP Experienced leading on a full payroll process in a sole role Excited by the opportunity to work in a creative environment People-centric, eager to get out around the business and develop relationships
