Pharos Architectural Controls is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to join its marketing team and spearhead the companys digital marketing activities. Youll be responsible for improving our websites SEO and executing our programme of paid digital advertising, social media output and email marketing strategies.

You will be working independently under the direction of the Pharos Marketing Manager. The role will be based in the Pharos office in London and there is flexibility around hybrid working. Office attendance is recognised with a daily bonus.

Job Summary

The Digital Marketing Specialist is a new position within the Pharos marketing team. The successful candidate will be working closely with the Pharos Marketing Manager and the wider product team across a range of digital marketing activities, focusing on SEO, Google and LinkedIn ads, social media and email, and would suit someone with a Digital Marketing qualification and some previous experience in a similar role. You will have the chance to work proactively within a small but growing team, developing your digital marketing skillset whilst helping to increase the visibility of Pharos solutions and the Pharos brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the creation and execution of our multi-channel digital marketing campaigns (SEO/PPC, social media and email) with the aim of increasing the companys visibility online.
  • Enhance the performance of the Pharos website in organic search by implementing an effective SEO strategy, establishing best practices.
  • Be the companys leading voice on paid digital advertising, proposing, planning and executing campaigns across two main channels: Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads. Regularly monitor performance and make adjustments to improve results.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Commercial teams to align digital marketing efforts with company goals. Coordinate with the Product and Marketing teams to ensure smooth execution of campaigns.
  • Effectively manage campaign budgets, analysing campaign performance and tracking KPIs to increase ROI.
  • Take our social media presence to the next level, staying ahead of social media trends, always innovating new strategies and content ideas to set us apart from the competition.
  • Plan, build and execute social media campaigns, ensuring consistent messaging and proactive engagement to build brand awareness. Identify opportunities to improve strategy and engagement, including social listening to track and respond to comments.
  • Build our company emails in Mailchimp and manage their distribution.
  • Upload news stories to the website and promote these on our social media platforms. Perform other routine website updates to pages such as Events.
  • Produce a monthly social media report using Google Analytics and the relevant social channels. Look at ways of automating this with online tools.
  • Maintain and enhance the companys brands by ensuring all marketing activities, messaging, and materials are consistent and aligned with company values and objectives.
  • Assist the rest of the marketing team with the organisation and execution of trade shows and other networking events as and when required.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • A strong grasp of SEO principles, and the knowledge and experience of using SEO developer tools.
  • Experience working in a PPC environment. Excellent knowledge and proven experience of building and managing campaigns with Google Ads.
  • Proven experience in social media content creation and management.
  • Effective problem solving, organisational and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and numeracy skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven work environment.
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and contributes positively to group tasks, but also a self-starter able to work autonomously and on own initiative.

Desirable Extras

  • Google Ads and/or Google Analytics 4 certifications.
  • Knowledge of Googles Looker Studio or Microsofts Power BI.
  • Experience working with marketing automation tools (Mailchimp, Canva, Buffer).
  • Knowledge or experience of the live events or architectural lighting industries.
