Accounts Receivable Officer Full Time

Are you an accounts receivable specialist looking for your next role?
Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity is hiring for a Finance Officer (Income) to work in our accounts receivable/income department.
This is a varied role and we’re looking for someone with previous experience working in an accounts receivable function.
This role is known internally as Finance Officer (Income)
Salary
The salary for this position is £30,792 and we operate a hybrid working model of 2 days in the office per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Allocate all income received through the bank and cash office appropriately.
  • Download and process income reports.
  • Raise opportunities on Salesforce in order to record funds received against appropriate individual/organisation.
  • Review cheques received and raise any discrepancies.
  • Create batches of income and ensure fully reconciled before completion.
  • Opening, stamping and recording of all incoming mail.
  • Keeping fundraising trackers up to date.
  • Liaising with key stakeholders.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Previous experience working in an accounts receivable/income/cash office role.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Data entry experience.
  • Experience using finance systems.
  • Experience using a CRM system.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace, dealing with high volume and delivering to deadlines.
Experience within the charity sector is not essential for this role, but is highly desirable.
