Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Self-employed Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team on a "Rent-A-Chair" basis. The ideal candidate will possess a flair for creativity, exceptional customer service skills, and a commitment to providing an outstanding experience for our clients. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services while also contributing to the overall atmosphere of the salon.
Responsibilities
- Provide a range of hair services including cutting, colouring, and styling to meet client needs.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitised and in good condition.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide expert advice on styles and products.
- Upsell salon products and services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey ideas and listen to client needs.
- Experience in store management or salon operations is a plus.
- Skills in barbering techniques are advantageous.
- Familiarity with front desk operations within a salon setting is beneficial.
- Experience in upselling products or services is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £100.00-£150.00 per day
Expected hours: No less than 14 per week

- Post-Qualification Stylist: 2 years (preferred)
