Join Our Team as an IT Helpdesk Specialist – Be the First Line of Support at the School of Geography and the Environment! Are you a tech enthusiast with a passion for providing exceptional support? We’re seeking an IT Helpdesk Specialist to join our dedicated IT team and provide vital support to our academic department. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for IT queries, offering hands-on assistance with software installation, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring smooth daily operations across the department. You’ll deliver front-line IT support to staff and users at all levels, focusing on clear communication and effective solutions. Additionally, you’ll manage and triage technical queries coming into the IT helpdesk, ensuring issues are promptly addressed and escalated when necessary, while also assisting with the installation and maintenance of software across various systems. This post is permanent and offered on a full-time basis.
