Ground Up Property Services is looking for a highly organised and proactive Out-of-Hours Service Desk Assistant to support the smooth operation of our service desk during overnight hours. This is a vital role in managing out-of-hours job workflows, liaising with contractors and clients, and ensuring timely communication and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Job Management:
- Handle out-of-hours job requests, ensuring they are logged, scheduled, and managed efficiently.
- Monitor ongoing jobs, providing updates to clients and addressing any issues that arise.
- Contractor Coordination:
- Book contractors for jobs, ensuring availability and timely communication of requirements.
- Liaise with contractors to confirm job details and follow up as needed.
- Client Liaison:
- Respond to client queries via email and phone, providing professional and prompt updates.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear and effective communication.
- Report Writing:
- Prepare and send detailed client reports summarising job statuses, completions, and any outstanding actions.
- Quoting:
- Assist with quoting jobs, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Work closely with the team to ensure quotes meet client expectations and company standards.
- Inbox Management:
- Manage the out-of-hours inbox, responding to emails and ensuring all tasks are actioned.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a service desk, customer service, or administrative role (experience in property maintenance or facilities management is advantageous).
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in IT systems, including job management software (training provided).
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle escalations effectively.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently during overnight hours.

Pay: £26,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
