The Engineering Lead – Data Platform will play a critical role in defining and driving the vision, development, and operation of Sonnedix’s data ecosystem. You will oversee the creation of scalable and robust frameworks to support data integration, governance, and visualization, empowering teams across the company to make data-driven decisions. This role combines technical expertise in cloud platforms and data engineering with strong leadership skills to mentor and inspire a team of engineers. If you are passionate about delivering transformative solutions and advancing renewable energy through data, this is the opportunity for you. Desirable skills:

• Strong experience in leading technical teams, providing mentorship, and fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in modern cloud frameworks (e.g., IaC, CI/CD, DevOps) and technologies such as Terraform, GitHub Actions, Snowflake, and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Proven ability to define, build, and maintain frameworks for orchestration, cost optimization (FinOps), and data quality management.
• Practical experience developing cloud-based data platforms, including ELT/ETL pipelines, data lakes/warehouses, and visualization tools like Palantir, Power BI, or Grafana.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• A solutions-oriented approach, with the ability to identify challenges, implement creative and scalable solutions, and empower others through training and support.
