Job Title: Elevate Manager Location: Midlands Contract: Permanent
Your role
To work as part of a matrix EssilorLuxottica sales team on a defined customer segment or segments, to attain product category volume and revenue growth objectives. Responsible for the elevation of customer partnerships and adding value to the EssilorLuxottica wholesale business. Delivering a focused approach to value creation with our very best customers, helping them realize significant improvements in patient eye healthcare, quality of product dispensed and an overall improvement in the practice's perception in the local community.
To work with our very best customers to deliver value through training and focus against five key pillars:
1) Premium Essilor Lens technology to include Varilux, Transitions, Eyezen, Stellest and the adoption of personalised lenses with associated enabling instruments / technologies. 2) Premium Luxottica Frame Brand positioning and promotion, providing a point of contact for brand emersion and equity / consistency. 3) Introduction of new Digital tools and enabling technologies to include Smart Shopper, Lens Simulator and the myEssilorLuxottica ordering platform. 4) Trade Marketing execution, point of sale assets and the general use of materials. That help a practice elevate its presence in the local community. 5) EssilorLuxottica financial solutions – help the customer embrace our solutions, train on the adoption of the technology and ultimately Average Transaction Values. Thus creating an amazing, ELevated customer and patient experience that delivers significant, sustainable growth and local market share gains for the independent practice

Main responsibilities:
- Use consultative selling and training to support customer’s goals and help them set objectives but then challenge and help them unlock personal, professional and business potential, exceeding customer expectations.
- Proactively communicates with all EssilorLuxottica team players, removing roadblocks and relentlessly achieving ELevate objectives but also general Essilor business objectives(Lens volume and value growth, with the advancement of our personalised lens market share).
- Totally understand the patient the journey and embrace the digital enhancement of it, taking into account the whole patient experience and creating one that embraces the complete EssilorLuxottica product and service offering.
- Complete analysis for each customer on the impact of goal attainment to ELevate profitability and other EssilorLuxottica metrics with real emphasis on Luxury Frames, Varilux, Eyezen, and Transitions lens sales.
- Provide world class customer service as a business consultant to selected customers.
- Proactively coordinate and manage an appointment schedule.
- Provide in field internal training support for new product launches and focus initiatives as required.
- Works in a coordinated and open way with the Essilor Instruments team to maximise the use of all potential technologies and equipment.
- Deliver effective demos and training for all core technologies, at customer locations, adapting training where needed to meet the needs of the audience.
- Deliver effective virtual training utilising the Leonardo platform.
- Monitor, support & communicate progress with Elevate accounts, proving follow up support where needed, logging results and required next steps on our See4c CRM platform.
- Support the development of training programmes through regular feedback to the Regional Sales Manager and Trade Marketing.
- Work with the broader commercial team and customers to grow personalised and premium lens and maximise Frame adjacency sales.
- Provide ad hoc support to internal departments to answer technical queries on core technologies associated with the ELevate team day to day.
- Support excellent communication across internal sales, marketing & Instruments team.
- Presence at trade shows at events where required.
- Ensure all records are kept up to date with accurate and timely information.
- Provide in field training support for new product launches or focused training initiatives as required.
- To at all times act as an ambassador of EssilorLuxottica and its values.
Main requirements:
- Experience of successful sales account management in related field.
- Optical experience and/ or D/O qualifications.
- Interest and / or experience in fashion, design or product marketing.
- Proven ability to train audiences large and small with strong techniques, enthusiasm and conviction.
- Knowledge of lens manufacturing processes, Company products and a good understanding of the UK optical market.
- Proven ability to work on own initiative to tight deadlines.
- Ability to communicate at all levels both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to effectively analyze and interpret data.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Selling and negotiating techniques.
- Computer literate, with strong digital skills and confident with technology.
