Finance Analyst

The role
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting the finance team in managing and developing the financial side of a privately owned and fast growing business. This role is a maternity cover for a period of 9 months.
What you will be doing:
- Ownership of report writing and visualisation
- Timely and accurately distribution of all the reports
- Distribution of credit control reporting
- Weekly forecast
- Revenue Reports and analysis from Zoho system
- Planning / Budgeting reports and templates
- Payroll support
- Bank activities, payment run, and uploading approval
- Assisting in preparation for audit
- Assisting in the day to day duties to meet monthly deadlines, such as sales invoicing and banking
- Assist in ad hoc internal projects for improving financial duties
- Support the team in the set up and delivery of financial targets
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis to support the team
Security
- Comply with all aspects of our security policies, taking personal responsibility for the security of your own, the company’s and our clients data
What you will need or advantageous to have:
- ACCA or similar qualification
- Experience with using Xero accounting system
- Experience in using Zoho
- Experience in using Datarails reporting system
- Excellent advance excel skills
- Proven experience in a fast moving finance team
- Taking responsibility for whatever needs to be done and to help deliver continuous improvement
- A hands on approach attitude
- A proactive, self-starter who has a strong work ethic and the ability to work under pressure in a small collaborative environment
- Strong organisational skills
- Clear and concise communication style
- Excellent attention to detail
