What exactly will you be doing? As AAT’s Marketing Assistant you will play a critical role in driving engagement with our products and services. As a team player with a desire to build marketing skills and experience, you’ll assist with everything from competitor research to copywriting, working across both on and offline channels. Whether you’re supporting on career campaigns for students, or creating engaging emails for small businesses, you’ll demonstrate creativity, a data-driven mindset and strong communication skills to deliver activity that engages our entire finance and accounting community.

Major objectives
The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for assisting in developing and delivering activity against an agreed marketing plan to drive customer acquisition and customer lifetime value, retention and loyalty, and growth for AAT’s products and services. This will include:
- assisting in the development and delivery of marketing campaigns and new product go-to-market activities.
- undertaking research on competitors and industry trends to bring new ideas and fresh thinking into campaigns.
- providing insights to Marketing Manager and/or product teams to ensure feedback is used to inform product decisions.
- continually reviewing marketing activities, and consulting with colleagues, to implement improvements assisting other teams with events activity and case study management as required.
- A keen interest in marketing and a desire to learn and grow within the field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- GCSE Maths and English Grade 4 and above.
- Creativity and problem-solving skills. Bringing fresh ideas and different perspectives to opportunities and challenges.
- Social media savviness with some understanding of PPC and SEO.
- Team working, with the ability to work in a hybrid workplace and collaborate effectively face to face and using digital tools such as MS Teams.
