The opportunity The University of Strathclyde Bahrain - Faculty of Engineering is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will thrive in a team-based environment, providing essential administrative support to the Engineering Departments in Bahrain. This role involves managing a variety of operational processes to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the departments throughout the academic year. To be considered for this role, candidates must have a minimum of Higher National Certificate (HNC) level education in a relevant subject and proven experience as an administrator in a similar environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in general and financial administration, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office packages, are essential. The ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload with a high level of personal responsibility and initiative is crucial. We seek someone with great attention to detail, a strong motivation for exceptional service delivery, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure. The successful candidate will engage effectively with a large community of stakeholders, including staff, students, university officers, accrediting bodies, and general enquirers.
