Overall Purpose of the job

Digital Marketing Manager will support the Head of Marketing and Ecommerce on the delivery of the key online initiatives, contributing to the overall success of the company.

Strategic approach to online sales and driving online customer into our stores. Constantly review competition and analyse sales reports to understand opportunity, make suggestions for website improvements and project manage proposed changes with third parties. To upload, publish and update online content of Paul UK Website and other websites platform used to drive online turnover. To maintain the continuity of the design layout, to streamline navigation and increase online presence to potential customers. To own and implement online content calendar and engage with our social media community driving engagement levels and traffic to website and stores with new creative photos, videos and engaging copy. Work with the marketing team to manage and execute the content calendar for the website and social media - in alignment with overall digital and brand strategy. Use own knowledge of search engine analytics and best practice to maximize traffic to the Paul UK website and grow our following on social channels.

Key Objectives

  • Work closely with the marketing team to deliver the digital content calendar for the website, email campaigns and social media channels
  • Ensure the Paul UK Website is up to date with the latest brand campaigns, operational requirements, and in line with the best practices on customer user journey, product management, and content updates
  • Coordinate all the website issues, enquiries and tasks between Paul UK teams and third parties and project managed urgent fixes and planned improvements

Key Responsibilities and Activities

  • Daily management of PAUL E-commerce website to drive online and offline sales
  • Manage regular contact with third parties to manage log of bug resolution including auditing, prioritising and testing fixes
  • Accountable for all merchandising on the website to drive Customer Experience and online sales. Activities include uploading new products including photos, description, nutritional and allergen information. Merchandising top sellers and complementary products, seasonal items and offers
  • Responsible for regular digital reports including tracking, measurement, analysis, summary and recommendations across all digital channels.
  • End-to-end online content management including launch and execution for onboarding and best in class performance. Marketing strategy and execution.
  • Key point of contact working with customer services team to drive online sales, effective customer service, resolution of system issues and development and implementation of best practice approach
  • CRM engagement through Email marketing content development, upload and reporting for new and emerging databases
  • Researching and investigation of new digital opportunities to develop knowledge and drive greater effectiveness to achieve sustainable results
  • Work with the marketing team to develop and run digital marketing campaigns across all online/digital channels in line with the marketing calendar
  • Analysis and reporting of Sales Marketing campaigns
  • Accountable for Online competitor analysis across all channels

Skill and Technical Requirements

  • A degree level qualification within either marketing and advertising, graphic design, communication or equivalent
  • Previous experience within a digital marketing agency or in-house digital marketing team
  • Experience in managing an E-commerce store; Magento would be a plus
  • Experience working with social media, website content marketing and website development agencies
  • Proven digital project or campaign leadership
  • Experience working in a fast-paced team
  • Good knowledge of search engine analytics to maximize traffic to websites
  • Competent in publishing and creative design software
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of HTML and content management system such as WordPress is also a definite bonus
  • Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Photoshop
  • Strong knowledge of social media trends and creative tools
  • Great copywriting and communication skills
  • Customer service skills gained in an online or internet trading would be an advantage
  • Proven Track record in making social channels a success, digital media, website management, user journey and Google analytics
