IT Technician

Bramcote College are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, confident and experienced individual who is enthusiastic and committed to supporting others to join the Trust’s current IT support team. This role presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Technician to join us in this exciting phase of the college’s development – with a brand-new building containing up-to-date IT infrastructure designed to meet DfE technology standards due to be completed over the next few years.
The successful applicant must be organised, flexible and able to use their own initiative, prioritising tasks and working proactively to deadlines in a fast-paced environment. They will be required to provide quality technical support to the students and staff of Bramcote College, including performing routine maintenance tasks, hardware/software configuration, on-site/cloud account administration, managing consumables, and ensuring the general efficiency of the school’s IT estate.
The successful applicant will be based full time in the school and will become an active member of the wider Trust IT Services team, which has over 50 years combined experience supporting the IT estate of the Trust’s schools, offering a great opportunity to learn a wide variety of systems and working practices.
