IT Business Partner

We're currently recruiting for an IT Business Partner to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks IT Team. This role will have responsibility for the business relationship and delivery of outcomes for the business, ensuring needs are supported by IT.
Location: Can operate from any of our Kier offices, with occasional travel to the office required
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
Contract: Permanent, full-time and able to consider part-time opportunities
Responsibilities
As an IT Business Partner, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- In collaboration with the business, document defined business needs that the specific IT services need to deliver.
- Managing Kier and External Customer expectations while managing the definition and delivery of effective new/improved solutions in conjunction with all Kier IT teams.
- Attending business unit management meetings to keep up to date with business requirements and communicate IT matters and updates on IT Projects.
- Providing support for Bid submissions and mobilisations, IT solution pricing and collaboration with JV partners, implement standard offerings to support Joint ventures.
- Collaborating with Service Owners to prioritise any performance issues, escalations or improvement initiatives.
- Assisting in business forecasting and planning to ensure that the IT components are fully understood and budgeted as part of the annual business planning cycle.
What are we looking for?
This role of IT Business Partner is great for you if you have:
- Previous experience within a Service Owner/business partnering IT role.
- A broad understanding of processes and how technology supports it to positively impact the business performance and value.
- An ability to understand and anticipate the needs and requirements of IT service consumers to ensure that service contributes to business outcomes.
- Ability to budget, track and allocate costs to align spending with strategic objectives and improve cost transparency for Heads of IT.
- Strong vendor management skills to leverage resources internal and external to the enterprise and enhance capabilities that support business objectives.
- Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to present information to a variety of levels and audiences.
