We are seeking a skilled Bricklayer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry, with experience in bricklaying and the ability to work with various materials. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively on construction projects. The Bricklayer sponsible for constructing and repairing structures using bricks, blocks, and other materials, ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Duties

• Lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials according to specifications and blueprints.
• Construct walls, arches, and other structures using traditional masonry techniques.
• Prepare surfaces for bricklaying by cleaning and levelling as required.
• Use power tools and hand tools effectively to cut, shape, and finish materials.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and welders on-site to ensure project completion.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments as needed.

Experience

• Proven experience in masonry or bricklaying is essential.
• Familiarity with using power tools (e.g., saws, drills) and hand tools (e.g., trowels, chisels).
• Knowledge of roofing techniques is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials regularly.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
