Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust applications that meet business requirements and enhance user experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development and a passion for technology.

Duties

• Design, develop, and implement Java-based applications and services.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept through deployment.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Skills
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:

• Proficiency in Java development with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with frameworks such as Hibernate for ORM (Object Relational Mapping).
• Familiarity with web technologies including HTML for front-end development.
• Knowledge of database management systems, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS for application deployment and management.
• Understanding of UI design principles to enhance user experience.
• Exposure to Python or Ruby on Rails is considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with reporting tools like SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
