We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst to join our Data Analytics Team. The role will be focused on the ‘what, why, future and so what?’ of the business allowing management intervention and decision making to be incorporated into these questions.

What will you be doing?

Most of your work will be carried out using Microsoft Excel, CRM and BI systems, so you will need to be comfortable learning new systems and being a bit of an Excel expert. You will also be statistics and data obsessed.

You will:

  • Interpret and report on data and statistics across our vast and growing group
  • Develop, track and analyse key metrics such as Sales performance, Pricing and Profit Margin analysis, as well as Operational metrics
  • Identify key trends in the data and areas of improvement
  • Use data to advise on sector specific performance to guide and support our Sales, Operations, and Pricing teams in where their time is best spent
  • Work closely with our Data Engineering team to develop group-wide data capabilities, and leverage where appropriate to unlock operational benefits, capacity improvements, and other additional value add that can be created from harvesting the group-wide data sets.
  • Develop standardised analytical dashboards using available information, covering group wide activity and key performance indicators.

As part of our team, you will get:

  • A starting salary between £40,000 – £50,000 depending on experience

To join our team, you will need:

  • Proven experience in an analytical role, with a track record of successful project delivery
  • Experience and confidence in using visualisation tools such as Power BI
  • A natural flair for data, numbers, and calculations
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Adept at relationship building
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent presentation skills (both in creation and delivery)
  • Fantastic reporting skills and the ability to make numbers make sense
  • Degree in a data related course (desirable)
