Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced 3rd Line IT Technical Support Engineer with strong Azure skills to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, managing complex IT issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. This role will also involve implementing and maintaining robust cyber security measures to protect our systems and data. Key Responsibilities:
- Must be ‘hands-on’, no job too small.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues escalated from 1st and 2nd line support teams.
- Implement and manage Azure services such as Entra, Conditional Access, and Enterprise Applications.
- Manage and support SharePoint and Intune environments.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of IT services.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to design and implement IT solutions that meet business requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Implement and maintain cyber security measures.
- Respond to and manage security incidents and breaches.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies and best practices.
- Proven experience in a 3rd line IT support role.
- Strong technical background in Microsoft Azure, including experience with AVD, Azure virtual machines, storage, and networking.
- Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Windows Server environments.
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS/DHCP.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and VPNs.
- Experience with SharePoint and Intune.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or similar certification preferred.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell preferred.
