About the role
The Brand Admin Assistant will report to the Brand Marketing Executive (BME) for 2 for 1 Gardens and to the Brand Manager for all other responsibilities. This role encompasses the management of the 2 for 1 Gardens guide, online directory, and database, including recruitment and maintenance tasks.
Key responsibilities include: Building and nurturing relationships with gardens through weekly emails or phone calls. Compiling content for the 2 for 1 Gardens newsletter, website, and social media platforms. Additionally, the Brand Admin Assistant will handle administrative communications related to the 2 for 1 Gardens App.
Requirements
As a Brand Admin Assistant you will;
- Send out contracts, raise PO's for influencer activity and regularly update marketing budget.
- Collate competitor brands and digital activities
- Responsible for the Brand and Commerce customer services inbox
- Coordinate with production, subscriptions, Frontline teams, and third parties to ensure print orders are accurate and products are delivered on time eg seeds, 2 for 1 Guide.
- Record actual production costs including seeds and live events, against estimates and update the marketing budget monthly.
- Assist the Brand Manager in planning the marketing budget.
- Ensure timely delivery and provide regular reporting and analysis.
- Conduct quarterly reviews of activity, providing analysis and recommendations.
- Provide monthly brand highlights for magazine welcomes and Frontline display activities to maximise visibility.
- Create UTMs and links to ensure accurate tracking across all mediums.
- Participate in quarterly brand reviews, contributing insights and generating ideas for new initiatives.
- Conduct competitor analysis on associated brands and digital activities, providing recommendations based on marketing trends.
- Primary admin contact for Mags Direct, overseeing online sales of Gardeners’ World magazine and guides.
- Write and approve content and images for pages, ensuring accurate weekly tracking of sales activities.
House Ads
- Ensure the allocation of house ads in Gardeners’ World magazine and related titles, including agreeing on contra activity with sister brands.
- Write briefs and approve own-brand house ads, responsible for the creation of assets.
- Ensure third-party house ads, including Live Events, are delivered in the correct format and approved promptly.
- Review in-house ads biannually to ensure they maximise promotional opportunities.
Events
- Responsible for efficient organisation of stock and deliveries
- Book staff with Promo Agency and coordinate delivery of staff brief.
- Produce information pack for GW staff attending the show
- Attend events to support BME while at the show.
- Liaise with NEC re discounted refreshments
Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing tools (e.g., social media, email marketing).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint
