Operational Marketing Specialist

Based on the GC Aesthetics® plans of growth and expansion the Direct Marketing Op is responsible for implementing the Global Marketing Plan and adapting it to the local market / region / country.
In complete alignment with the global and digital strategy, this means creating effective marketing tactics to ensure that products in the assigned portfolio achieve Brand awareness and recognition while maintaining strong correlation with global messaging, digital and marketing strategy.
Key to the success of the Direct Marketing Op is the ability to build successful partnerships with Distributors (when is the case) Country Managers & Sales Reps, develop relationships with key opinion leaders and to modify strategies and tactics, when necessary, based on voice of customer, emerging trends or adjustments in corporate global strategy.

Key Responsibilities
- Understanding of the market.
- Work closely with the global marketing team to develop sales and marketing assets such as brochures, advertising materials, training manuals, show materials and other collateral with input from Sales. All developed materials need to be approved by HQ Marketing.
- Primarily responsible for coordination of Conferences/Society Meetings strategy and planning, in complete alignment with Global Brand, in collaboration with Distributor, Business Manager and Global Event Manager.
- Develop a strong understanding of the market and the competition. Act as an information resource to all functional areas. Identify key competitors, understand, and analyse the competitive market environment.
- Routinely communicate with the Sales Team regarding product updates and availability, competitive activity, sales positioning, best practices, and new product development updates.
- Manages stock of marketing materials and prints, all aligned with country manager and country budget.
- Manages, develops and is responsible for merchandising and gimmicks all aligned with global marketing, country manager and country budget.
- Supports global digital marketing manager with social media management.
- Operates the overall brand awareness and promotion activities (GCA Academy, KOL communication, etc…) in coordination with global MSL.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Can manage KOLs and align education plans with GCA Academy Director.
Qualifications / Experience
- Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in similar industry.
- Digital Marketing knowledge: social media, email marketing, google ads.
- Bachelors degree (or in process of) in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Communication or Life Sciences (Bioscience)
- Written and verbal English
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
- Ideally, to be interested in the beauty / aesthetic / medical industry.
- Ability to take initiative
- Exceptional ability to manage details
- Ability to meet deadlines and to anticipate next steps or needs
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and be flexible enough to change priorities with short notice when necessary.
- Requires excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively communicate and relate well with sales professionals and customers.
- Must exhibit strong teamwork and be adapt at working cross-functionally.
