Antenatal Appointment Clerk Full Time

The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post

To provide a comprehensive clerical service and administration support to the Consultants, Registrars and Midwifery Staff.

To be responsible for answering all telephone calls to the base and directing enquiries to appropriate member of staff.

To deal pleasantly, efficiently and sympathetically with all telephone calls.

Prepare any paperwork required prior to any clinics.

To file signed reports in case notes or forward reports to where case notes are located.

To ensure the diaries are kept updated and that messages are relayed to the relevant Consultants/Registrars/midwives/maternity support workers.

Check if there are sufficient identification labels and re-order if necessary.

Undertake photocopying as required.

Assist midwives and Consultants to complete relevant documentation for mother and baby.

Arrange and issue out patient/clinic appointments as required.

Order stationery stores and top up stock in base areas with relevant stationery on a daily basis, use of ORACLE order systems will be required.

Assist midwives and Consultants in the collection of routine statistical data.

Perform general administrative tasks required of the post.

Pulling of antenatal clinics to include prepping notes and sending to clinics both on site and in peripheral clinics.
