Oakleafe Claims is on the lookout for a Finance Administrator who’s ready to keep our numbers in check, records in order, and compliance on point. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Data & Record Management: Enter financial transactions with precision, and keep our records spotless and up-to-date.
- Invoice Processing: Receive, verify, and process invoices to keep things moving and make sure payments go out on time.
- Bank Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile our bank records to keep everything accurate.
- Financial Reporting: Contribute to monthly financial reports – from income statements to balance sheets.
- Expense Tracking: Document and manage expenses, making sure everything follows policy.
- Audit Support: Prepare documents and reports to support internal and external audits.
- Compliance Monitoring: Help ensure we stay compliant with financial regulations, including RMAR and CASS audits.
- Payroll Assistance: Pitch in with payroll processing, keeping payroll accurate and timely.
- Accounts Receivable & Payable: Manage invoicing, payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Basic Financial Analysis: Assist with identifying trends and variances that impact our finances.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Provide data and insights to support our financial forecasting.
- Customer Service: Handle financial inquiries from colleagues and clients with a helpful, can-do attitude.
- Process Improvement: Spot opportunities to make our accounting processes more efficient – we’re always looking to improve!
Who We’re Looking For:
- Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. AAT qualification or studies in progress are a plus!
- Experience: Background in bookkeeping or financial support roles is a must!
- Detail-Oriented: You’ve got an eagle eye for accuracy and love data that’s organized.
- Tech-Savvy: Skilled in accounting software and Excel? Even better!
- Organized & Efficient: Able to balance multiple tasks and stay on top of deadlines.
- Communication Pro: Whether you’re talking to colleagues or clients, you’re clear, professional, and friendly.
- Team Player: You’re happy to work with others and support the team, but also confident managing your own tasks.
