L&Q PRS Co Limited is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our growing team. As a Build to rent landlord, all of the homes we market are owned and managed by L&Q PRS Co Limited.L&Q PRS Co Limited currently has a Market Rent (PRS) portfolio of over 3000 homes with ambitions to have over 5,000 new build homes in the next 3 years; expanding greatly to become one of the largest rental portfolios in the capital. L&Q PRS Co Limited is part of the L&Q Group.

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to support our Finance function in providing an excellent level of service to our internal and external customers.

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this is new and exciting role in our growing Finance team.

With an eye on detail and highly organised you will ensure financial transactions are kept up to date and able to provide timely and accurate information.

You will be numerate, self-motivated, and able to work to deadlines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Daily invoice inputs and matching to purchase orders.
  • Liasing with suppliers on invoice queries and following up discrepancies.
  • Maintaining the supplier ledger and preparing regular payment runs.
  • Daily bank reconciliations.
  • Setting the monthly rental charge and following up credit control with property managers.
  • Ensuring ad-hoc payments are accurately processed.
  • Reconciling the deposit account with TDS.
  • Coding and checking void expenses.
  • General finance administration.
  • Preparing employee expenses and credit card expenditure.

Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant is essential as is being able to multi-task and manage your time effectively. We are looking for someone who can also easily show their excellent communication skills both written and verbal and are happy to work as part of team.

You should be proficient with MS Office and experience of Yardi is desirable.
