The Product Marketing team at Lightspeed is seeking a creative, results-oriented Product Marketing Manager to accelerate growth of the Lightspeed Restaurant product in EMEA (mainly France, Belgium, and Netherlands) and North America. Reporting to the Global Lead, Hospitality PMM and working closely with the Hospitality PMMs based in EMEA and APAC, this position will: develop, coordinate, and execute product launches and go-to-market programs for the Hospitality product portfolio; establish impactful positioning and messaging; conduct market analysis; gather customer feedback; and act as the voice of the customer within the organization and ensure customer needs are addressed at each marketing touchpoint.
At Lightspeed, as Product Marketing Manager, you will build relationships throughout the organization. You will interact with diverse stakeholders such as product, marketing, sales, customer service, partnerships and others in order to help accelerate the launch and lifecycle management of our various products.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Becoming an expert in the Hospitality industry and understanding the technology landscape that helps restaurateurs be successful
- Conducting market research and gleaning nuanced market insights that will help inform our roadmaps and hone our messaging
- Conducting customer interviews and maintaining a deep understanding of our customers
- Translate insights into strategies that help support and drive our organizational OKRs
- Go-to-market planning and execution of programs, with ownership of the results of these initiatives
- Learning the competitive landscape and products inside-out so that you can effectively position our products in the market as well as arm customer-facing teams with that knowledge
- Being the go-to person for messaging around our products and value proposition
- Developing collaborative relationships with various cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Managers, Sales leadership, and production teams of creatives and automation specialists
- Act as the key liaison for go-to-market teams. Leverage insights from internal stakeholders and customers to optimize funnel and enhance enablement material
- Developing a roadmap of marketing initiatives that spans the customer lifecycle, from initial launch through product adoption, onboarding and retention
- Work closely with Content, Design, Marketing Automation, and Product teams to develop creative and compelling content that resonates with our customers
What you need to bring to the team:
- 3-5 years experience working in product marketing, growth or lifecycle marketing, or similar go-to-market experience
- Previous background in SaaS marketing, preferably with experience in either consumer apps / technologies, early stage startups, or with exposure to small business audiences
- Experience working with product and engineering teams, as well as sales teams
- Excellent project management skills to lead and influence multiple cross-functional and cross-regional stakeholders to meet project objectives and deadlines
- Ability to build, maintain, and manage close working relationships across a variety of departments and levels
- Strong quantitative analytical ability and excellent written and oral communication skills
- Genuine interest in and curiosity in helping small businesses succeed
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French
Even better if you have, but not necessary:
- MBA or Product Marketing Alliance certification
- Experience in the hospitality industry in any capacity is a strong asset
