Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Location: DSTL, Porton Down, Salisbury, Wilts, SP4 0JQ
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Assigned rota of shift patterns: 7:00-3:30, 8:00-4:30 and 8:30-5:00.
Salary: £25,000 to £28,000 dependent on experience
Could you be our next Helpdesk Coordinator working in our team of 7 at Porton Down?
You will be communicating with all on site teams and any customers visiting site at Porton Down. You will be handling inbound phone calls and emails from internal VIVO employees and any clients that are on site, ensuring that you meet the set deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction.
You will be assigned a zone with a set of engineers that you will be scheduling works for, as well as raising and closing jobs on Maximo and communicating with engineers throughout their workdays and answering enquiries as necessary.
What you’ll need to do this role
First and foremost you will need previous experience in a help desk environment, along with experience with scheduling. You will need excellent communication skills, and it is important you are able to build positive relationships with people at all levels of the business.
You will be able to demonstrate excellent IT skills in a variety of Microsoft Packages especially Excel, and it is highly desirable that you have experience using Maximo.
It is desirable that you have experience of operating within an MOD environment and have familiarity with geography and establishments within area of responsibility.
You must be able to pass SC Clearance to be considered for this role.
You must be a British National to be eligible for this role.
