Overview
We are seeking a skilled Web Developer/Technical Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, and maintaining our web applications, ensuring a seamless user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You will also provide telephone support to our Broadband users as well as customer service and some inbound sales.
Duties
- Develop and maintain web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
- Write clean, scalable code in languages such as PHP and JS.
- Integrate APIs and work with various data formats including SOAP and JSON.
- Manage version control using SVN and ensure code quality through regular reviews.
- Perform database management tasks using SQL to support application functionality.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to enhance performance and reliability.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills.
- Provide telephone support for customers of our broadband service.
- Deal with customer service and billing queries
- Occasional inbound sales queries
Skills
- Proficiency in PHP, JS, and SQL is essential.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as NodeJS and VueJS as well as Laravel Framework is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with API integration, specifically SOAP services.
- Strong understanding of version control systems like SVN.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.

Pay: £19,313.70-£25,000.00 per year
